Yes. For garment categories BoutiqueOS checks each piece after all discounts: 5% when the taxable value is up to ₹2,500 and 18% above it (the rates in force since 22 Sep 2025). Sarees, fabric and dress material are a flat 5%, and tailoring is billed as a service (SAC 998821) at 5%. You can change the rates for any category in Settings.
A thermal label printer is best for 50×25 mm or 38×25 mm rolls and hang tags. Without one, print tags on A4 label sheets (65 per sheet) from any printer. Any USB barcode scanner works at the counter.
Yes. There are five roles: Owner, Store Manager, Sales Executive, Accountant and Tailoring Master. The tailoring master sees orders, job cards, measurements and the rate card — not your sales or accounts.
Turn it on in Settings and you get a public link and a counter QR. It shows only in-stock designs, with available sizes and colours. Sold-out sizes disappear by themselves. Customers can enquire on WhatsApp or send a reservation request that appears on your dashboard.
No. Bills, reminders and campaigns work with free click-to-chat. If you already use Meta Cloud API or a provider like Interakt, AiSensy or WATI, connect it to send booking, trial and pickup updates automatically.
Yes. Stock is kept per branch, with transfers by barcode scan. Users, branches and limits are set for your plan when we create your store.
