A playground for builders
Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com) is Google’s free, browser-based workspace for trying Gemini models, designing prompts and building AI apps. It is aimed at developers, but anyone curious can use it — no installation needed.

What you can do
- Test prompts on different Gemini models side by side.
- Send images, PDFs, audio and video.
- Get structured JSON output for apps.
- Create an API key and call Gemini from your own website (PHP, Python, JavaScript).
- Build and share small AI apps from a prompt.
On the free tier, Google may use your prompts and outputs to improve its products, and humans may review them. Don’t send private, client or personal data on the free tier. Paid (billing-enabled) usage has different data terms — read them.
